Amy Dummier, LBSW

Director of Adoption and Permanency

Amy Dummier is a Licensed Bachelor Social Worker, who began serving at Agape in 2017. Amy has a personal connection to adoption as an adoptive mom that began in 2004. In combination with this personal connection as well as her professional experience, Amy has over 20 years of experience in adoption that she is able to share with the families that she serves through Agape.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in social work at the University of Alabama Birmingham. Amy earned her social work license from the State of Alabama Board of Social Work Examiners. Amy is a Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Practitioner which was developed by Dr. Karyn Purvis and Dr. David Cross at the TCU Institute of Child Development. She also a facilitator for Making sense of your Worth as well as Parenting for Positive Self Worth.

At Agape, Amy is serving as the Director of Adoption and Permanency. Amy has a vast knowledge of domestic and international adoption and considers it a great honor to guide families through each unique adoption situation with excellence.
